I am a passionate and dedicated counsellor with a strengths-based approach to support and guide individuals through life’s challenges, I am committed to providing a compassionate, client-centred service that fosters resilience and emotional well-being. My core belief is that the essence of effective therapy lies in the willingness for change, facilitated by the therapeutic relationship between client and counsellor. Mutual respect and trust are built, creating a nurturing and healing environment.
l am a registered professional counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. I hold a double Diploma in Counselling and Counselling Practice with Distinction. I have further studies in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness techniques.
I love being in private practice, tailoring my support service to the individual needs of my clients. I can assist with grief and loss, chronic illness, aged-care, youth, depression, anxiety, family and relationship issues and general
counselling. My previous experience includes end-of-life care, facilitation of young adult’s support groups for chronic illness and I continue to volunteer for a youth counselling service. My clients have ranged in ages from 14-92.
Government funded aged-care packages can fully subsidise counselling support.
